Her journey in Canada started when she was 19 and took a life-changing decision to fly solo from India and pursue her degree in Business Administration in British Columbia. She then further received her CGA, CPA accounting designation in 2016 while working with British Columbia Lottery Corporation in Kamloops, B.C. She moved to Ottawa, ON in 2017.
As a part of a minority group in Canada, she always wanted to represent my community in a fair and just manner and provide the guidance learnt from her personal experience, hardships and any societal hurdles either in personal or professional lives to community members in-need or who are struggling to come up. Learning about OVS and its guiding principles and values, it connected personally and aligned with her compassion values to serve and give it back to the community.
Preet’s goal at OVS is to provide board guidance and ground-level support to add on to the great and selfless work performed by volunteers and victim support workers.
