Ottawa Victim Services (OVS) has been providing emotional and practical support, advocacy and referrals to victims of crime and tragic circumstance for 26 years. We serve the entire Ottawa community and anyone who identifies as a victim. Your donations help us secure personal alarms and home safety items for clients in high risk situations, 911 cell phones, and safety planning services. We also deploy volunteers to support clients during criminal court proceedings, to make police statements and to deliver needed items such as groceries or clothing in the aftermath of violence. As a registered charity with the Canadian Revenue Agency (Charitable Business Number: 88482 3428 RR 0001) all donations over $25 from individuals or corporations are eligible for a charitable tax receipt..
